Honeycomb board (also called honeycomb cardboard, honeycomb panel, or paper honeycomb core) is a eco friendly lightweight structural material made from layers of kraft paper or cardstock formed into a hexagonal honeycomb cell structure, then faced on both sides with flat paper linerboards. It provides exceptional strength and rigidity while keeping the overall weight low. The design mimics the efficiency of natural honeycombs allowing it to withstand compression and impacts effectively. It’s valued for it’s sustainability, cost effectiveness, and recyclability.

- High strength-to-weight ratio: The structure is incredibly lightweight because of the empty space inside the honeycomb, keeping distribution costs low .
